Two exciting days full of inspiration and innovation are behind us! The OPEN TABAKFABRIK DAY on May 23, 2025, and the FESTIVAL OF CURIOSITY from May 23 to 24, 2025. Over 70 organizations opened their doors, and more than 130 exciting program highlights awaited the visitors: from innovative ice cream robots and playful four-legged robots to exclusive tours, insights into the world of start-ups and artificial intelligence, behind-the-scenes looks at SOKO Linz, inspiring studio visits, and thrilling guitar concerts.

 

The OPEN TABAKFABRIK DAY on May 23, 2025, and the FESTIVAL OF CURIOSITY from May 23 to 24, 2025, were a fantastic experience: Over 70 organizations opened their doors, offering more than 130 exciting program points.
The visitors took a view behind the scenes during tours on topics such as AI or architecture.
During the tours, visitors experienced highlights from the TABAKFABRIK, such as Dieter Perndl/Ubitec , who informed about chatbots during the AI:UNDERSTAND tour.
Carina Heindl and Bernhard Lehner (factory300 and the Strada del Startup) invited to gain insight into the world of start-ups and innovators.
At the Startrampe of Sparkasse OÖ, Johannes Pracher explained how start-ups are supported in the Tabakfabrik.
Albert Ortig from Netural/NXAI provided insights into brand new developments in artificial intelligence.
The art association ART MAGAZIN opened its studio doors and invited into conversations with the artists.
Happy Dragon Tattoo created lasting memories.
Duo Notrio thrilled with their guitar concerts.
During the SOKO Linz tour, a visit to the TV pathology fascinated.
At Ars Electronica Solutions, Chris Bruckmayr transported the visitors into immersive spaces.

During an exclusive tour, Denise Halak and Markus Eidenberger - the management of the Tabakfabrik Linz - welcomed Finance Minister Markus Marterbauer, Martin Winkler of the SPÖ OÖ, Mayor Dietmar Prammer, and City Councilor Thomas Gegenhuber.
The Tangible Music Lab of the University of Arts Linz showcased unusual musical instruments.
Creative Robotics of the University of Art Linz fascinated with their four-legged robots.
