They were impressed by the conversion of the largely unlit tobacco storage warehouses into bright office and educational spaces. It was completed in 2022. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.steinbauer-architektur.com\/\">STEINBAUER architektur+design<\/a>&nbsp;and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kaltenbacher.at\/\">kaltenbacher ARCHITEKTUR<\/a> have already won awards with their design of the facade made of 70,000 glass blocks.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.detail.de\/de_de\/drei-hauptpreise-beim-detail-award-2024\">DETAIL Award 2024<\/a> chose its winners from 527 submissions from 40 countries. Three main prizes and three special prizes were awarded. Only four projects received an appreciative mention, including HAVANNA house. The DETAIL jury thus recognized \u201cthe elegant and precise renewal of a masterpiece of the 20th century.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Find out what impressed the jury: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.detail.de\/de_en\/haus-havanna-tabakfabrik-linz\">DETAIL Award 2024<\/a><\/p>\n<p>BEFORE<\/p>\n<p>ngg_shortcode_0_placeholderAFTER<\/p>\nngg_shortcode_1_placeholder\n<p><strong>Concentrated IT competence in the present<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Today, the HAVANNA building stands for concentrated IT competence: At the very top, on the sixth floor, are the blockchain specialists <a href=\"https:\/\/tabakfabrik-linz.at\/mieterinnen\/akarion\/#events-upcoming\">Akarion<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/tabakfabrik-linz.at\/mieterinnen\/blockpit\/#events-upcoming\">Blockpit<\/a>. In addition, <a href=\"https:\/\/tabakfabrik-linz.at\/mieterinnen\/ikt-linz-gmbh\/#events-upcoming\">IKT Linz GmbH<\/a> is renting space here as a central service provider for information and communication technology. The <a href=\"https:\/\/tabakfabrik-linz.at\/mieterinnen\/grand-garage\/#events-upcoming\">Grand Garage<\/a> has additional rooms in Haus HAVANNA &#8211; in keeping with the digital focus, <a href=\"https:\/\/tabakfabrik-linz.at\/mieterinnen\/coders-bay\/#events-upcoming\">Coders.Bay<\/a>, a coding training center with its finger on the pulse of the times, is also housed here.
